Dear Bob Filner,

The issue of global warming is really big. Why? Because the greenhouse gases that keeps heat in our atmosphere has increased and trapping more heat in our atmosphere. And the rising temperatures cause a chain reaction; such as heat melting the ice caps causing sea levels to rise causing floods, the change in weather (The changing temperature has a huge on the seasons), along with more natural disasters. I think there people should start using renewable energies for their cars, since cars are one of the biggest polluters and adds to global warming the most.

My name is Amanda. I go to High Tech Middle Media Arts, grade 6.

We truly thank you for the many services you try to provide such as funding our community, helping with federal agencies, providing internships for those future representatives of federal houses and much more. We also love you for always putting us citizens and students first. I really believe you can help us convince everyone else to use renewable energy, thus helping lower the amount of emissions of greenhouse gasses.

If we really don’t do anything about Global warming, it means that our ice caps will melt, animals will become extinct, and most importantly, we might loose a lot of land that can’t be recovered. If we just change the fuels for our cars to renewable energy, there will be a lot less pollution since most renewable energy don’t burn anything. Just using Hybrid cars, Diesel powered or Hydro powered cars will do a lot to help.

It would also help a lot with our economy. With a lot of people using different renewable energies, expensive gas prices won’t need to be paid. Renewable energy sources can last a long time. Even though upgrading our cars may cost a lot, it’s quite worth it.

Even kids like me can help. I’ve learned to always turn off lights when we use them, and we always walk to the park instead of riding the car. Little steps can go a long way, so even we can help without changing the laws.

I hope my argument brought you into consideration of convincing everyone else to use renewable energy. I truly think it would be best for everyone to use renewable energy so we all can live a long, healthy life with memories of all the courage that brought the United States together to stop the fever that the earth has.
